Dear Readers:

Welcome to Winter 2003-2004!

We have made great progress this year in our continued effort to grow and to be the best landscape firm in Kansas City. This past spring we purchased our own farm south of Overland Park, outside of Bucyrus. We fondly call it The Ranchito (“small farm” in Spanish). It’s small, but ours! It is our hope that this new found freedom of land and facilities will allow us to be more efficient in our work and therefore more cost effective. Our new farm allows our crews to function out of one location rather than several. It also allows us to better secure our equipment and autos. Finally, it will give us the opportunity to begin growing some of our own plant materials, especially those that are difficult to locate in this market.

I hope you enjoy the following photos of The Ranchito!

Sincerely, Troy
